A non-competitive guided trail ride of one lap of the 2024 24 Hour Trial course is planned, on the Friday before the Trial, as part of the Centenary celebrations, starting at Kapunda, SA.

This ride is open to:
– riders who have previously ridden the 24 Hour Trial (e.g. rider who does not want to enter full event, but wants a ride)
– past motorcycles that have been ridden in the trial (e.g. Grandson riding Grandfather’s 24 Hour bike)

The aim is give past riders a ride who don’t wish to participate in the full event, and showcase some classic machines from the past.

The ride would include the transport on-road sections of the course and possibly some easy off road sections. Possible approximate total distance and time 180km, 6 Hours.

Those who are riding the competitive event are not eligible for the trail ride.

Please Note: This ride is not designed to be a try-out of the trial for riders who have not previously ridden the event. If you would like to give Reliability Trials a go for the first time, there are a number of 6-hour reliability trials held each year as part of the SART series. See the SART championship website for details.

To nominate to ride the trail ride, please fill out the form below.

Places are limited, so entry will be at the discretion of the committee and preference will be given to competitors and bikes deemed significant to the history of the 24 Hour Trial.
